Best Buys of July

How can daily time be moving at a snail’s pace, yet here we already are in August?! Guess that’s pandemic life for you. πŸ˜‰ I’m changing things up a bit with monthly loves this go around. Today I’m sharing my best buys of July, including new bedding, storage solutions, masks and more!

best buys of july

+ Casaluna Lightweight Down Alternative Comforter. We’ve slowly been redoing our master bedroom, the biggest change being an upgrade to a king size bed. So, we needed all new linens! I’ve always been a fan of the look and feel of down alternative comforters, but both Ryan and I are hot sleepers so it never was a good mix. UNTIL NOW. I cannot rave about this down alternative comforter enough – it comes in three different weights, and the lightweight one is the perfect match for us! Bonus that it still has that fluffy, full look for appearance sake.

+ Washed Cotton Duvet Cover Set. I love the look of linen, but I don’t so much love the price. This duvet set is a great look-for-less! I’m impressed with the quality – it’s that ideal soft white (not yellow!), and the material continues to get softer with each wash. It feels like we’re sleeping on a cloud!

+ Old Navy Fabric Masks. These are hands-down the best masks that we’ve tried. Lightweight, breathable and affordable! They’re available in a ton of solid colors and patterns. For fit, they do run a tad big so I simply knot the ear bands. Not a deal breaker, though and they do shrink some in the dryer.

+ Old Navy Embroidered Eyelet Blouse. One of the few clothing purchases that I’ve made, and I’m smitten. The detail makes it feel special, and the material is lightweight to wear even on the warmest of days. I think it’ll even transition well to fall with jeans and a utility jacket.

+ Versed Brightening Eye Gel. This is a great daytime eye product! It’s lightweight and applies clear, so there’s no issues with concealer. It’s not the most hydrating, but it does smooth everything out for a refreshed, awake feeling and look.

+ IKEA Shoe Storage Boxes. I’ve been looking for some affordable shoe storage for our closet, and these are exactly what I had in mind. I like that the front flap is made out of a mesh material to avoid any moisture, etc. getting locked in and so I can still see what pair of shoes is inside.

+ IKEA Storage Case. I want one of these as every storage solution in our home! I started with two to store away my sweaters and cold weather clothes. The large size holds a ton! I definitely plan to get more to store extra blankets and linens.

Any best buys of your own from last month?

That blouse is really cute! We are also thinking about getting some new bedding. Because we are spending more time at home we have bought new wine glasses, new dishes, and new pillows for our couch. Oh and a new dishwasher!! But that was necessary because the old dishwasher bit the dust. Thanks for sharing and I hope that you doing well! xo
