What’s On My Summer Bucket List

I’m reading (and loving!) everybody’s seasonal bucket lists right now, so I decided to jump on the bandwagon. It has been a few years since I’ve written and shared a proper wish list for any season – I had a lot of fun putting this one together, and it surprisingly wasn’t very difficult! Guess I have lots I want to do, see and accomplish in the coming months. 🙂 With that, here’s what’s on my summer bucket list.

What's On My Summer Bucket List
+ Go to a concert(s). This always is number one on any bucket list of mine because I live for concerts! Nothing beats live music. We already have tickets for a couple events purchased, but I’m always hoping to squeeze in more.

+ Beach days. Last summer we found a great beach spot right on Lake Michigan, so I know that we’ll be spending many days there in the weeks to come.

+ Landscape our backyard. Not the most “fun,” but probably the most necessary!

+ Take day trips. There’s almost always something happening in some part of Wisconsin throughout the summer, so it should be easy to explore new places! A day in Milwaukee – we haven’t done this in years! – and Lake Geneva are at the top of my list.

+ Visit the military base where my grandma is buried. Besides the obvious reason, this location is supposedly beautiful with a lot of history and a nice walking trail near the lake.

+ Bring Finn to a dog park. Would you believe that we’ve never done this?! We want to try one when it’s not super busy to see how Finn likes it.

+ Walk the farmer’s market every week. We fell out of this habit last summer, but I’d love to get back into it. Our small town surprisingly has a great market, and it’s a fun excuse to grab Saturday-morning breakfast and get some steps in.

I’m sure I’m only scraping the surface, but that’s currently what’s on my summer bucket list! I’d love to know what your plans are for the summer – any must-do or must-see things?

This is summer bucket list perfection! I fell out of the habit of going to the farmer’s market, too. Something I definitely want to do this summer again. Already can’t believe how fast the weeks are going!

  • To my #foreverweddingdate: thanks for always standing by my side, letting me dress you up once in a while, and posing for pictures outside my childhood home like it’s high school graduation day. I love you so much. 😂❤️ #marriedlife #fridayfeels
  • It has been 84 years since it stopped raining in Wisconsin, so it seemed necessary to document the occasion. 💁🏼‍♀️ #thursdayvibes #loveloft
  • #Bookworms, rejoice! This is our kinda day! 📚 On #WorldBookDay, I simply want to say thank you to all authors. Your characters, stories and words change my life daily, and I can’t imagine a life without them. Happy reading to all! #bookstagram

@Disneyland is full of hidden scenes and little details. This area in particular, right around the corner from Fantasyland, was my favorite of them all! Maybe because we were there early before the crowds came pouring in, or maybe I was taking a moment to be nostalgic ... either way this was the first time in a few months that I felt happy and 100% myself. Perhaps that’s the magic of Disney that Walt always talked about. #adultsatdisney #disneyland
