7 Things I Loved in October

How the hell are there only two months left in 2018?! It’s crazy that the holiday season is practically here, and it’s time to get myself in gear to finish out the year on a strong note. So let’s jump right in today with 7 things I loved in October.

Beauty & Hair

Blondes, listen up! The Pravana Perfect Blonde Purple Toning Masque is the BEST at-home purple toning treatment that I’ve ever used. Not only does it help restore the cool, icy blonde tones, it also leaves your hair ridiculously soft and moisturized. Even Ryan noticed the difference in my color after one use.

The L’Oreal Colour Riche Shine lipsticks are reminiscent of the no-longer Revlon Butter lipsticks. Really pigmented shades, but with a hydrating formula that feel great on the lips. Varnished Rosewood is my current go-to color. More of my current beauty favorites can be found here.

I found the best high-rise black skinny jeans!

My new favorite boots.

Music | Probably no surprise here that the A Star Is Born Soundtrack was my most-played last month. I admit that the movie was kind of a letdown – I have mixed feelings on it, and I’ll always be bias to the Judy Garland version. But, there’s no denying how great the music is.

T.V. | We finally got around to watching Jack Ryan on Amazon Prime. Spoiler alert: we loved it. Definitely didn’t think it was the type of show I would get into, but we ended up bingeing all eight episodes in only a couple days because I just had to know what was going to happen. The cute John Krasinski that I love is still there but mixed in with a lot of badass. I dig it.

This post from Jessica was a home run. Who hasn’t felt this way about something at some point in their life? I always admire others who are willing to be vulnerable and in turn become way more relatable.

Also, just a quick PSA that tomorrow is election day! If you didn’t get out to vote early, please please PLEASE head to the polls to exercise your civic duty. Those who vote together stay together! 😉

Your first sentence is how I’ve felt all year long. This year has literally flew by. Definitely checking out that masque- my purple shampoo is great for toning but sometimes makes my hair so dry and I always have to condition extra when I use it.

I think you’d love the mask! It’s so conditioning/hydrating that I don’t have to use an extra conditioner after, even with the toning component. I bought the travel size (it’s a generous bottle!) and that’s what I’m still using – just a tip before committing to the full size! 🙂

You will love the show then when you get around to it! He’s so stinkin’ cute, but also pretty badass in this one.

I know, it seems crazy that it’s November already! As always, a good roundup here, I really like those L’Oreal lipsticks too! Just saw Bohemian Rhapsody, loved it! And yes, everyone must VOTE!

I’ve been meaning to tell you about those lipsticks since you loved the Revlon butter lipsticks, so I’m glad that you already discovered them!
