Let’s Talk Guilty Pleasures

Let’s talk guilty pleasures for this month’s personal, get-to-know me post. We all have and experience them! This was a fun list to come up with – no shock here that most of mine involve food, music and TV/movies. The three primary things that make my life go ’round. 😉 Here’s my top 10 list.

Let's Talk Guilty Pleasures

1. Anything Disney. Yeah yeah, no secret here! Doesn’t matter what it is – if it’s Disney-related, I’ll probably love it.

2. Peanut Butter M&M’s and/or Reese’s Pieces. Basically, give me a bag of peanut butter chocolate candy and I’m a goner.

3. Cute stationary. Especially from TJMaxx or the Target Dollar Spot. I mean, who can say no to $1 notepads? Trick question. Nobody.

4. Teen Mom OG. WHY DO I WATCH THIS SHOW? Seriously. It’s a train wreck that I can’t pull my eyes away from. Maybe it makes me feel better about my own life? Who knows, but I’ve watched it for years and can’t quit it.

5. Romance-y books. I’m not talking about Fabio or anything, but trashy reads every once in a while never hurt anything. Except maybe my IQ.

6. Hallmark Channel movies. They’re so bad that they’re good. Count me in for any story line that involves royals/royalty and stars Candace Cameron Bure. #DJTanner4Life

7. Ritz mini cheddar sandwich crackers. I can eat a whole box in one sitting.

8. Graphic tees. Especially ones from Old Navy or that involve sayings about dogs. You never can have too many.

9. Eye shadow palettes. I need a new eye palette like I need a hole in the head. But, I still somehow manage to come home with a new one every few months. It’s a problem.

10. Late 90s/early ’00s pop music. Is this considered a guilty pleasure since this is the music of my childhood/generation? I’m not sure, but I do know that I still love it to this day. Ever seen Just Go With It? I’m Brooklyn Decker with her feelings about N’Sync.

I look forward to writing these posts each month, and this might be my favorite topic yet! Time for you to join in the fun – what are some of your guilty pleasures? Do we share any of the same or similar ones?

Past topics: pet peeves, worst habits, quirky things you probably don’t know about me.

I can’t go to tj maxx or marshalls and not look through their stationary aisle – it’s my weakness! xo, Biana –BlovedBoston

Unfortunately, my biggest guilty pleasure involves 2 things that aren’t too good for my waistline – cookies and candy, lol! I too am sucker for anything romantic, I could watch Pride and Prejudice or PS I Love You every day! This was fun to read today, nothing wrong with a few guilty pleasures!

4-6 are some of my favorite things, too. Pretty sure I will never stop watching Teen Mom OG…although I am not sure how I feel about their new addition! Just seems weird to add someone into the mix? Although I felt the same about Teen Mom 2, and even though her story line isn’t my favorite, it’s not like it kept me from watching at all, haha!

    • I agree with you! I just think the new addition is kind of weird since she’s not even a teen mom anymore, and I don’t want some political agenda being pushed at us. Oh well, I’ll still watch haha.

Haha these are great!!! I started watching Jersey Shore again if that makes you feel any better. I also loved N’Sync and I saw them in concert senior year of high school. 🙂 My latest guilty pleasures are Werther’s Original candies, Starbucks, and Trader Joe’s. Oh and a glass of wine while watching the Real Housewives of Orange County or Beverly Hills. 🙂

    • N’Sync was my first concert, so they’ll always have a special place in my heart. 🙂

@Disneyland is full of hidden scenes and little details. This area in particular, right around the corner from Fantasyland, was my favorite of them all! Maybe because we were there early before the crowds came pouring in, or maybe I was taking a moment to be nostalgic ... either way this was the first time in a few months that I felt happy and 100% myself. Perhaps that’s the magic of Disney that Walt always talked about. #adultsatdisney #disneyland

  • I can’t stop obsessing over this book! It’s Behind-the-Music meets Almost Famous, and I had to constantly remind myself that I wasn’t reading an interview in Rolling Stone Magazine. I just love when a book comes around that makes me fall further in love with reading than I already am. Have you read it? What are you #currentlyreading? #bookworm #bookstagram
