My Monthly Currents for November 2017

Second to last month of the year … I won’t even get into how I feel about that! Instead, let’s jump right into my monthly currents for November 2017.

My Monthly Currents for November 2017

Affiliate links are in this post. Thanks for helping me make a few cents at no extra cost to you!

Excited for | the release of Chip and Jo’s Target collaboration! I’m sure it will be survival of the fittest both online and in-store to get your hands on anything, but I’ll stay hopeful. Honestly, I’d settle for just this wreath and doormat.

Reading | a royally stupid royal romance story (see what I did there? πŸ˜‰ ). Before that, I finished A Thousand Letters by Staci Hart that’s a modern retelling of Jane Austen’s Persuasion. For a BookBub freebie, it actually was pretty good! My monthly book recap will be up in a couple weeks, but in the meantime you can find all my reviews here.

Watching | a few new releases on Netflix, our favorite being Mindhunter. It took us a couple episodes to get into it, but then we flew through it. I can’t WAIT for season two. And, just like the rest of the world we’re working our way through season two of Stranger Things. So far, I’m not overly impressed.

Listening to | Yours by Russell Dickerson. This song randomly came on in the car one day, and I’ve been in love ever since. If Ryan and I ever renew our vows, this will more than likely be our song. His whole album is available via Amazon Prime Music, and it’s pretty good!

Wearing | nothing but cozy, warm sweatshirts. Any from Old Navy are my favorite! In case you missed my last post, I rounded up a whole lot of Old Navy love.

Cooking | casseroles and slow cooker meals galore! Any favorite recipes that you want to send my way? I’m pretty excited to give this baked chicken Parmesan casserole a try.

Planning | everything for our Thanksgiving hosting duties! I plan to start writing out my menu and grocery list this weekend. And, even though I said in my fall home tour post that I planned to keep our table the same as last year I still changed my mind. Typical! I already purchased the new “major” items, so now there’s just a few little things I want to find. Can’t wait to show you!

Looking forward to | a productive weekend ahead of house projects, maybe an afternoon movie, and hosting our new friends Sunday for chili night!

What are you watching? Cooking? Planning? Tell me all the things!

  4. When I went to the doctor on Tuesday there happened to be an Old Navy nearby haha. I checked out all of your favorites but only ended up getting two pairs of cozy socks. They had a sweatshirt that said “This is the Windy City.” But grr they don’t have it online! πŸ™ I may need to go back there and get it. Anyways.. I’m looking forward to seeing the Chip & Joanna stuff at Target. I also hope that you have a wonderful weekend and a fun time with your new friends! πŸ™‚

  5. oh that doormat is cute. i’ll have to remember to jump online and see if i can snag anything before it sells out. i had a quick look the other day but got distracted with something else haha. i swear i love target online more than target in store. oh i’m glad you liked a thousand letters! i LOVED it. hardcore. why aren’t you on goodreads!! wah. that sweatshirt is adorable. want it. my cats would destroy the drawstring things though so i try and avoid those haha

    • Thousand Letters was SO good and exactly the type of book that I needed to read when I read it. I am on Goodreads! I don’t really “use” it, though – it’s really just to rate/keep track of all my books. I hardly ever write actual reviews.

  7. I’m pretty sure that I saw you mention Mindhunters on your blog, so I added that to my list on Netflix, and I’ve been loving it so much! It’s so good and totally my type of show since I love Criminal Minds!
