8 Affordable IKEA Farmhouse Finds

As I mentioned in a previous post, IKEA is one of my favorite places to shop for affordable home furnishings and decor. Their inventory to be good quality, on trend and, of course, easy on the checkbook. During a shopping trip a couple weekends ago, I was thrilled to see that IKEA is keeping up with consumer demand for farmhouse-inspired pieces. I picked up quite a few things for our home, and there are others that I hope to go back for in the future! If you’re also into this style of home decor, here’s a roundup of eight affordable IKEA farmhouse finds.

8 Affordable IKEA Farmhouse Finds

My favorite find was this mirror, which will be a welcome addition to our downstairs half bathroom (our next DIY renovation project after the kitchen). I’m always a fan of taller mirrors (what some might deem “skinny mirrors”), and the color and beveled detail lends itself that rustic cottage charm.

You can’t beat $30 for a quality jute rug, and this was exactly what I was searching for to put in front of the kitchen sink. Other favorite finds were these white and gray checked pillow covers – I also picked up the down feather pillow inserts, and they are a dream for only $6! These popular white pitchers also officially made their way into my shopping cart, and I’m still scheming as to where in the house that I want to put them.

What I hope to go back for? This wicker storage chest and these botanical prints. I see those floral/botanical prints in tons of farmhouse home decor pictures – they are so versatile and work in practically any room with any decor. And, honorable mentions go to this pendant light and these linen dishtowels. Funny story is I actually had every intention of purchasing those dishtowels, but when we went to check out I realized that they fell out of my shopping bag. Oops!

It’s always nice to find a few updates for the home that don’t break the bank. The house feels refreshed, and I’m anxiously awaiting to put that rug down in the kitchen!

Do you love IKEA? What are some of your favorite products there? What recent finds have you come across?

Oh IKEA… what don’t they have! I just wish we had one closer than 2 hours away, although that may be dangerous haha. Give me all the farmhouse decor!

Right?! Ryan always says it’s a good thing that we don’t have one closer. Although, they are building one only an hour away from us starting next year … 🙂

I haven’t shopped at Ikea in forever, but all of those pieces are so pretty! I really love that pitcher too! It looks like it’d fit perfectly in your new kitchen!

It does! I have both the big and small size, so I think I’ll have the large one in the kitchen and the smaller one in the half bathroom.

Those checked pillow covers have been on my Ikea list for awhile. Adding some of these to my list for my next trip! Awesome picks!

I think we’ve going to brave ikea this weekend, I thought we could just order a few things but then I realized the shipping was like $200! Love those pillow covers– we have pillows that I hate and I’m not sure why I never thought of getting covers- going to check them out now!

I’ve almost exclusively switched to pillow inserts/covers in the past year. It just makes it so much easier when you want to switch things up!

It’s been too long since we’ve gone browsing at IKEA. I keep telling my husband we need to go check things out as we’re finishing off the nursery. So many great finds! Especially loving that mirror and pillow <3

I keep wanting to get that giant pitcher every time I’m in ikea! It’s so cute and doubles as a perfect vase!

Love that rug, and that pitcher! The farmhouse, rustic feel is one of my favorite styles for a house. It’s always so inviting and refreshing. I’ve actually never been inside of an IKEA, and I don’t even want to imagine the damage I’ll do when I finally get to!

Oh, girl – you have no idea what you’re in for! If anything, it’s just such a great place for ideas. I love how they can turn even the smallest of spaces into something totally functional.

Those white pitchers are perfect! I love the idea of using them for flowers or even wheat stalks in the fall! You can’t beat ikea prices – especially on pillows!

i LOVE ikea. unfortunately the closest one is 3ish hours away, so I have only been once. Back home, we had two within like an hour, so we went all the time. One day I’m gonna rent a truck and take lots of money and buy all the things. haha! i want everything you shared, that storage chest is so pretty!

    • 8.15.16

Isn’t it?! I was so sad it didn’t come home with us, but I need to find a place for it first. It’s probably a good thing the closest one to us is where I grew up, so nearly 2.5 hours away. Otherwise, we’d be broke lol.
