And, hello September! It’s hard to believe that summer is coming to a close, but that also means that jeans and scarf weather is right around the corner, as well as our second wedding anniversary and trip to Puerto Rico! I’m definitely looking forward to a more low-key fall season since we have been going nonstop since June.
This past weekend, we celebrated my bride-to-be cousin – who I’m standing up for at her October wedding – at her garden party themed bridal shower. It was a beautiful day – all the little details really kept with the garden party theme, from flowers all over the house, to rustic decor touches, and even a fresh flower crown from my cousin’s wedding florist for her to wear throughout the day.
Since all the bridesmaids are wearing blush dresses for the big day, I only found it appropriate to stick to that color palette and bust out this chiffon maxi dress that I’ve had hanging in my closet for months just waiting to be worn. I love all the beaded details and its overall lightweight, ethereal feel – it’s a special piece that I plan to wear again for future special occasions.
