I know that I’ve said this before, but I’ll continue to say it again and again – one of the best parts (and perks) of blogging is networking with others who hold similar interests and discovering new beauty brands and products.
I was fortunate enough to connect with Jill Antczak via Twitter, and she introduced me to an independent beauty brand and sales program called Pink Papaya. Based on the name alone, I couldn’t wait to try out the products!
A few weeks later, I received a box chock full of goodies. Since I’m always up for trying new shower products, I first tested out the Body Sculpting Scrub, Lavender Mint Foot Scrub and Cranberry Orange Hand Scrub.
While these products are a bit much for everyday use, I especially enjoyed using them prior to self-tanning and doing an at-home manicure/pedicure. All the scents are relatively strong but refreshing, and they aren’t too harsh on my skin.
My two favorite products that I received were the Brown Sugar Lip Scrub in Vanilla Bean and Hydrating Lip Balm in Watermelon. You guys – this lip scrub is no joke! You only need the tiniest amount (the dollop on my finger in the photo below is way more than you need), and it’s effective in getting all the dry, cracked skin off your lips, but it’s not too harsh or abrasive like some other lip scrubs can be. Plus, it tastes like you’re eating vanilla icing – who would want to pass that up?!
I always follow up the lip scrub with the lip balm – it is so smooth and hydrating, which helps restore all the moisture back into my lips. The Watermelon color also leaves a subtle pink shade behind, which is great for little-to-no makeup days.
If you have any questions about Pink Papaya or are interested in their products, be sure to contact Jill directly – she’ll be happy to answer all your questions and pick out products that are right for you and your skin.
And, guess what? One lucky reader will have the opportunity to win the lip scrub and hydrating lip balm! Be sure to enter through Rafflecopter below – the giveaway will run through Saturday, June 13. Good luck!
Thank you to Pink Papaya for sponsoring this post. All opinions are my own.

I've never heard of the brand but they sound great!! The only time I really used lip scrubs was right before my wedding because I didn't want the lipstick to crack!!! And I use it a ton in the winter too! xo, Biana –BlovedBoston
I'm a HUGE fan of lip scrubs. I never knew how important they were until I really started using bold lip colors. They make lips look 100% better. I've been using scrubs a ton in the winter and enjoy not dealing with chapped lips.
My favorite are Lush Bubble Gum Lip Scrub and Beecology Lemon Lavender Lip Balm.
