Things That Thrill Me

I love how these simple DIY wooden arrows add a modern rustic touch to basically any room.

I’m a sucker for any type of recipe that involves the word “crisp,” so I imagine this one with blueberries and almonds is quite delicious.

The sheer hemline of this midi-length dress is spot-on for upcoming summer soirees and weddings.

A crescent roll, apples and brie cheese all in one appetizer recipe?! Sign me up.

Lauren Conrad just released her Minnie Mouse-inspired collection at Kohl’s
– while some of it seems a bit juvenile for someone my age to wear, the
styling is just so darn cute that you can’t help but smile at the
photos.

It’s no secret that one of my favorite shows is Fixer Upper and that I’m currently trying to achieve Joanna’s farmhouse style in our own home – this post offers some great tips on how to incorporate that type of decor into every room.

You may remember from last week’s favorites that I’m currently crushing on Erin Andrews’ new lob haircut – do you all think I should take the plunge? This is a great tutorial on one way to style the popular haircut.

How adorable is this free bathroom art printable? I guarantee that this will make an appearance in either our half bathroom or the guest bathroom upstairs!

One of my food weaknesses is soft pretzels, so I’m looking forward to trying this homemade recipe.

Yeah I'm trying to decide if I want them to point right or left. Right is towards my windows, left is towards my kitchen.

I'm with you! I actually ordered a dress from the collection online, and I am in love with it – navy with white polka dots!

You all have convinced me to go for it – Thursday is the big day! I'm glad you're chopping your hair, too. We can continue this whole twin trend. πŸ™‚

It is adorable! I actually ordered a dress from the collection that doesn't have the Minnie Mouse print all over it, and I LOVE it.

I made a hair appointment for Thursday, so I think I'm going for it! I need a change – I've had long hair for quite sometime now, and I think having a little bit shorter style for the summer will save me a lot of headaches!

Thank you! Yes, farmhouse style is definitely "in" right now.

For over your tv, maybe have the arrows point left or right? Just a thought!

That printable is the cutest – it's definitely going in our half bath downstairs! I'm glad I'm not the only one that has a weakness for soft pretzels – I can never get enough of them.

Well, I made my hair appointment for this Thursday, and I think I'm going for the lob! I think I'm going to make those arrows for our hallway or an accent in the family room – I just love them.

I am right there with you on the soft pretzels – my very favorite snack! There are definitely some cute pieces in the new LC line, and as long as they're broken up with some non-Minnie-inspired items, I think we can totally rock them πŸ™‚

Oh wow that brie appetizer looks amazing! I wish I didn't like cheese so much! haha I am in love with those wooden arrows! I want to do something like that over my tv but I'm not sure which way to have the arrows point.

So much deliciousness!! Soft pretzels are my weakness and baked brie is one of our go to (and most popular) appetizers so I'm definitely going to have to check out that recipe! I've been working on our bathrooms currently and might have to use that printable as well πŸ™‚

All of that food looks and sounds delicious. Especially that blueberry thing. Love LC and even though I'm WAY too old to wear that Minnie Mouse stuff, its so cute. I consider LC to be like my little sister hehe. I'm getting my hair done today for the first time in a year, (there is story..) and I was thinking about the lob. We'll see. πŸ™‚
