Hello, May and hello to another month of beauty favorites!
*John Frieda Sea Waves Sea Salt Spray | It has been years since I’ve used this product, but I’m convinced that the formula is back and better than ever before! I love to use this on days that I curl my hair to give the curls/waves some added texture and to help soften and blend them together. I’ll be purchasing a full size once this travel size is empty.
*Amara Organics Total Repair Eye Gel | I’m a huge fan of eye creams and gels, so I’m always happy to test out new brands and formulas. This has been my go-to nighttime eye gel; it has a delicious cucumber-like scent, and it keeps my under eye area moisturized and hydrated overnight. I have seen a bit of improvement in my dark circles and tiny fine lines since starting to use this. The packaging also is a huge plus since it has a pump.
Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso | This blush doesn’t need much explanation since it is a favorite among many of you. The coral color with just a slight hint of shimmer has been my go-to on days where I’m rocking a lighter makeup look – it’s essentially a blush and highlighter in one.
elf Small Stipple Brush | If you’re a fan of using cream products, such as blush, contour sticks, etc., then this brush is a must in your collection. I am blown away at how well this inexpensive drugstore brush blends out my cream and liquid blushes – I’ve already purchased a second one to have on-hand in my collection!
bareMinerals Marvelous Moxi in Speak Your Mind & NYX Mega Shine Lip Gloss in Sugar Pie | One of two of my favorite lip combinations that I’ve been wearing all month long (the second combination is below!), this lipstick and gloss duo give me that perfect nudish pink pout. It’s a subtle combination that can be worn with any type of blush or eye shadow, and I think it will look even better with a summer tan.
Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Pink in the Afternoon & NYX Mega Shine Lip Gloss in Nude Peach | If you’re looking for a bit more punch of color on your lips, then this is the combination for you. The lipstick is one of my all-time favorite true-to-color light pinks, with the slightest coral undertone, and when topped with the peach gloss, it gives the lips a beautiful pink/coral color with a hint of shimmer. Plus, the lipstick is said to be an exact dupe for the one that Audrey Hepburn wears in Breakfast at Tiffany’s – that’s reason in itself to buy it!
