Things That Thrill Me

One of my favorite bloggers – Cassie from Hi Sugarplum! – was a guest blogger at I Heart Organizing earlier this week, sharing her tips for an organized bathroom. I can’t wait to implement a few of these tricks in our own space!

We’re still nowhere near ready to decorate the family room, but I imagine this pom pom bunny garland would be the cutest addition to any room for Easter.

Bellini’s
are one of my all-time favorite cocktails, and this one looks
particularly delicious for the upcoming season of sunshine and Sunday
brunch.

Not only was this a fantastic (and realistic!) read about turning a blog into a business, it was great to see a few well-known bloggers from my hometown of Chicago get the recognition that they deserve.

It’s no secret that my ultimate comfort food is Kraft boxed macaroni
and cheese; however, I’m willing to step outside my comfort zone and mix
it up with different (and healthy) ingredients and an entirely
different brand. This easy caprese version is calling my name for dinner Friday night.

With the warmer weather coming, I’m looking for cute and stylish ways
to wear my hair up without always reverting to my messy bun or double
french braids. These easy topknot ideas are both easy and polished for any occasion.

Not only does this smoothie bowl look healthy and delicious, it’s just so darn pretty to stare at.

I don’t think there’s a woman out there that doesn’t envy Lauren Conrad’s perfect beachy waves, and now we all know how to achieve the same look!

I’m convinced that Julia can do no wrong when it comes to style. One of her latest looks with white skinnies, a classic striped tee, a leopard print trench and blush accents is one of my favorites to date.

  13. It's funny that you say that because my grocery store didn't have the Horizon brand shells and cheese, so I bought the Annie's brand instead! I'm sure it's the same thing – I'll report back how the recipe turns out!

Mac & cheese is seriously my weakness, I love it soo much. I recently found a recipe that used greek yogurt as the base for the sauce to give it a bit more nutritional value and make it super creamy. I'm going to have to try this one too!

  18. The bunny garland is so cute and looks like it might be simple enough to pull off. I keep hearing more and more about smoothie bowls, I wish I was a bigger fan of yogurt type things because they sound so healthy & look pretty!

  25. That mac and cheese looks delicious. I have been craving mac and cheese too so maybe I'll make that some time. Have you ever tried Annie's Shells & Cheese? It's similar to the brand that blogger uses in her recipe. I'm also a fan of Bellini's, and that leopard + stripe outfit is so cute. 🙂
