Now that it appears that spring has finally sprung in the Midwest, it’s about that time to change up my shower products!
Throughout the winter, I typically use a heavy moisturizing body wash that is either non-scented or has a rich, musky scent to it. I also rarely use an exfoliant during the colder months since my skin is dry enough and needs to lock in all the moisture it can get.
While I was out running errands earlier in the week, I popped into Wal-Mart to browse what was new on the shelves in terms of shower products.
Although they were hidden behind a shelf display in the body wash aisle, the Softsoap Fresh & Glow Hydrating Shower Cream and Exfoliating Fruit Polish bottles caught my eye with their NEW stickers. moisturizing benefits, while the scrub will help get any dead skin cells

Lucky for me, both bottles fit nicely onto our in-shower shelf that we had to set up considering how tiny the corner shower is in our master bathroom. I keep the body wash and exfoliating polish on the second shelf along with a bottle of shaving cream and my razor. I also picked up a lavender loofa because nothing says springtime to me more than pastels, even in the shower.
Although my hair products stay the same year-round, I thought I would still show them to you considering this is a little tour of my shower. I’ve used the Matrix Biolage Color Care line for as long as I can remember, and I only recently started using Goldwell’s anti-brassiness purple shampoo for my blonde locks.
It’s such a great feeling to now have my shower filled with spring-ready bath products that not only look and smell good but also deliver beneficial results.
