Dreaming …
of our finished family room. Now that we actually have paint on the walls, furniture in there and new carpet picked out, I’m especially anxious to get the built-ins finished so we can fully enjoy the room.

Planning …
our two-year wedding anniversary vacation to San Juan, Puerto Rico! We finally decided this week that that is where we want to go, and I’m looking forward to another fun adventure come October.

Cooking …
lots of new recipes that allow me to use my Veggetti. I definitely was missing out on this trend – zoodles are delicious!

Drinking …
water with Dasani flavor enhancer drops. I can’t get enough.

Reading …
The Girl On the Train by Paula Hawkins.

Wanting …
see Dreaming – a finished family room!

Looking …
for decor and unique pieces for the built-in shelves.

Enjoying …
the sunshine and warmer temperatures! Who knew that 40 degrees could feel warm?

Watching …
Friday Night Lights on Netflix. There’s a total binge-a-thon happening over here, and I’m not one bit sorry about it.

Playing …
fetch with Finny boy!

Wasting …
(too much) time relaxing on our new sectional. It’s so darn comfortable!

Loving …
all my new makeup and clothes from my birthday shopping trip with my mom. Now it just needs to be warm enough for me to wear them!

Needing …
to get my office space painted and decorated so I finally have a retreat of my own to work.

Wearing …
skinnies, graphic tees and lightweight cardigans  – pretty sure this is my new go-to spring uniform when I don’t want to think too hard about putting together an outfit.

Following …
closets galore on Poshmark!

Thinking …
about my extensive, never-ending to do list for the week(s) ahead.

Feeling …
happy, content and at peace. There are no better feelings!

  1. I loooooove your design inspiration. A girl after my own design heart! Also, super jealous of your PR getaway coming in October! What a fun way to celebrate!

  2. We stayed just outside of San Juan near the airport. Definitely spend some time in Old San Juan and walking around the Forts. It's a really pretty little town. Try the mufungo! Check out the rainforest – that was one of my favorites! I have some other suggestions in the travel section of my blog too, if you're interested.

  6. I can only hope my rooms turn out half as good as those! We are super excited for our vacation – it's the one tradition that we established before we got married that we would try to go away every year for our anniversary.

  12. Our sectional is from Ashley Furniture! We got it for a great deal during their President's Day weekend sale, and we are very happy with our choice. I ordered sitting chairs from Wayfair that should be here today, which also will be my first experience with ordering furniture online. We'll see how they turn out!

I'm reading Leaving Time by Jodi Picoult right now, but The Girl on the Train is next on my list – I've heard amazing things about it. I totally hear you – it's currently 3 degrees and sunny, but it feels amazing just to be above freezing! Those room photos are all so dreamy – they're really getting me in the mood for some spring redecorating!
