As much as I enjoy doing my makeup everyday, I sometimes don’t always want to over think what products I want to use or use a bunch of items to achieve my desired look.

Enter the Paula Dorf Perfect Color 3-in-1 makeup stick.

The brand describes this product as a “versatile multi-tasker that performs triple results: for eyes, lips and
cheeks. Light and creamy in flattering shades. Convenient and portable
for on the go application. The variety of looks is infinite, and the
effect is always natural and luminous.”

I would have to agree with all of the above claims. The formula is creamy and lightweight, which makes it ideal for providing a healthy glow and sheen to the skin without looking oily or greasy. It also is easy to blend into the skin, whether it be on the cheeks, eyelids or lips, and it can be used with makeup brushes and sponges or your fingers.

The shade of Perfect Color that I’m wearing is Ecstasy, which is a light, shimmery pink. Although I wouldn’t typically apply this product onto all three areas
that it is intended for at once, I wanted to demonstrate how the product
works for each part of the face.

I found that using a stippling brush provided the most seamless and easiest application of the product onto my cheeks, while I simply used my ring finger to pat the product onto my eyelids and lips. I was left with a softer makeup look, perfect for everyday wear while running errands or doing chores around the house.

Long term, I see myself mostly using this product on my cheeks and lips since I don’t tend to stray too far from my typical neutral eye looks. I also look forward to using this product come summertime when I cut down on the amount of products that I use – I already can envision this pop of pink against a healthy, sunkissed tan! The product will be a perfect addition to my purse, beach bag or makeup bag depending on where my travels take me.

Be sure to visit Paula Dorf to check out Perfect Color and all her other fabulous makeup products. With any purchase, you can receive a mini No Color Glimmer, a gorgeously soft, lightweight powder to complete your look. Use code Ecstasy at checkout.

Paula Dorf also is giving away a makeup kit full of some of their favorite products! Enter for a chance to win the Paula Dorf makeup kit ($125 value) here.

I've never heard of this brand but I love cream products and that's such a pretty color!

Awesome! I love multi purpose items for traveling 🙂 Never heard of this, thanks!

  9. 2.18.15

Thanks, girl! Fingers work just as well for applying it to the cheeks, but then I feel like I'm rubbing off my foundation/concealer that I just spent all this time on!

  10. 2.18.15

I agree! I really can't wait to use this in the summer once I have a tan – I think the pink will really pop against sunkissed skin!

  11. 2.18.15

I had the same problem up until last summer when I started experimenting with cream blushes! Especially this time of year when my skin is so dry, a product like this is great because it gives me more of a healthy look on my skin opposed to it looking real powdered down.

  12. 2.18.15

I've been real impressed with this product – some of her other makeup looks equally as intriguing!

  13. 2.18.15

    I agree with you completely!

  14. 2.18.15

Maybe if it was in more of a muted color, I'd consider using it on my eyes as a base for other shadows. This is just a bit too pink on the lids. 🙂

  15. 2.18.15

Right?! I think it's going to be great for traveling. YOU are too sweet – thanks, dear! xo

  16. 2.18.15

I've heard that NARS one is pretty good – I may have to look into it!

  17. 2.18.15

    Right?! So agree!

  18. 2.18.15

I agree with you! Products like that are so great for travel.

  19. 2.18.15

I agree this would be great for traveling, but I'm always skeptical about these kinds of products! Good idea on the stippling brush for cheek application!

  20. 2.18.15

I'm all about using less products to speed up the getting ready process! This will be perfect for traveling, too – love the perfect pink color!

I love multipurpose products! I've only ever tried one blush stick before and I had really oily skin at the time so it just didn't mesh well. I'll have to keep my eye out for a new one to try now that my skin is drier! This colour looks so beautiful and fresh on you!

  24. 2.18.15

I've been eying a few of these color sticks I've seen around lately, the idea seems great. But like you said I'd probably skip the eyes. What a great pink color on you!

  25. 2.18.15

Well isn't that a genius little magic stick all packed into one little tube! You = beautiful as ever!

  26. 2.18.15

Pretty color, and great product! I have a NARS stick like that and I just use it on my eyes and lips sometimes. Thanks for sharing your review and I hope that you're having a good day so far! 🙂
