After seeing an outfit that Aimee wore during her Fourth of July holiday vacation, I was instantly inspired. I love chambray shirts, and I love maxi skirts – so why have I never thought to pair the two together? Even more so, how come I’ve never tied my chambray shirt into a knot at my waist? This was life-changing to me. It adds a summer vibe to any outfit, and it helps define my waist and *ahem*, minimize my hips.
Whenever I want to keep my jewelry simple, I typically opt for one statement piece. The rediscovery of these hoops in my jewelry box was an exciting moment since they combine my forever-love of wishbones and current obsession with gold. I think we all need to carry around a little reminder when we can to keep wishing and dreaming big.
LOVE! So cute on you, and great maxi skirt! Can't go wrong with the black and white, thanks for sharing!
I agree – since the weather has been a bit cooler here in Wisconsin, I've been able to wear it more regularly.
Right?! I'm the same way!
This is so darling! I go through phases with my chambray. It's always in heavy rotation in the fall and spring though.

Love this outfit! My chambray top is probably my most worn piece of clothing in my closet — I have to consciously remind myself I can't wear it every single day, ha!
Absolutely – I've also worn this maxi skirt with a plain white tank and my jean jacket. I just love how casual and effortless both styles are!
Thank you! I really need to remember to wear those earrings more often. xo
Thanks, doll! xo
Thanks, girl! When I saw that this maxi skirt had a chevron on it, I knew it had to be mine. 🙂
Thank YOU for the inspiration. 🙂
I need to invest in a good chambray top! This is such a cute outfit and I'm sure you can wear both pieces with so many things!
Love this look! And loving those earrings! xo
YES, big fan! I love those earrings, so delicate and cute 🙂
Eek!! Love that skirt! And those earrings are so cute!
