Remember this chocolate chip cookie cake that I made for the hubs for Valentine’s Day?
Well, that was such a hit with Ryan that he requested I make another one last weekend for his birthday. I wanted to mix it up to make it extra special for his birthday, and since I have had a Pillsbury Funfetti cake for my birthday every year since I was probably two, I wanted to attempt to incorporate that into this cookie cake.
I went straight to the source that I used for the last cookie cake, Life, Love & Sugar, and sure enough, she has a recipe for a funfetti cookie cake! I followed her directions step-by-step, with the exception that I baked the cookie for 30 minutes to make it a little more firm instead of soft.
We enjoyed this cookie cake when my parents came into town to celebrate Ryan’s birthday, and it was a hit!
This is what cake dreams are made of, people.
What is a birthday treat or dessert tradition in your house?

Thank you! They do seem to be a hit with the men in my life!
Ha! Hey, as long as it's delicious, who cares if it's homemade or store bought. π
Yes, the white chocolate chips definitely kick it up a notch.
My KitchenAid mixer is the best gift I've ever received! I got it from my mom at my bridal shower, which makes it even more special.
Thanks, girl!
Thank you! It's definitely a crowd pleaser. π
Oh my, yum! What a good idea – my boyfriend would go nuts for this π xx

Oh. My. Gosh. YUM! I love Funfetti cakes π This looks so good with the added white chocolate chips.
That looks beyond good!! I am a huge fan of funfetti!! I have 0 baking skills and can only make banana bread so I opt for buying cupcakes or the actual cake haha!
